From the imaginary to the concrete. At the top, CONCRETO, in black condensed serif, solid. Below, the letters of the word come loose and fall — C, O, N, R, E, T at every rotation, scattered in the air, ever denser — until they compact into a black block where they can no longer be told apart: they have become concrete. At the foot, IMAGINÁRIO emerges from the block in letters that still carry a little of the mass. The cover reads the title backwards: it is the imaginary that, falling and piling up, hardens.

Raw paper and black. One ink colour over the cream of the paper; the author's name is the only point of colour, in coral red, lowercase, at the foot. The TAUP colophon in the corner.

The open cover. A cream back with a visual poem from the book — "each space between the words is a chance" — spaced across the page; black and red flaps with the author's portrait and the introduction by Nathália Lima Verde.
