The dotted line. The title is literal: strips of printed paper — scraps of pages, with letters that read backwards — form a dotted line that ripples across the cover in arcs, over the black background. Pink, purple and white, with the text on the strips in black. It is collage, it is tearing, it is the "half-Dada, half-Dalí style" the flap describes.

The name on the line. The title and author's name in white serif, aligned right, in the empty space the line leaves — as if written on the dotted line. The TAUP colophon sits alone on the left.

The open cover. The line continues onto the back, which carries two introductions (Ricardo Gracindo Dias and Febraro de Oliveira); pink flaps with the author's portrait and the back-cover text.
